⭐ 25 years already, and still energized by what’s next ⭐ This year marks 25 years since I first joined DSM as an intern, my “silver wedding” with the company. 🎂 What started on February 1st, 2001 as a Zuyd University of Applied Sciences student internship at dsm-firmenich grew into a career I could never have imagined back then. From those early days to officially joining in September 2001, to now leading the Digital Business & Engineering unit within Digital & Tech at dsm-firmenich, it’s been an incredible journey of constant learning, global roles, bold transformations, and the opportunity to work with incredible teams & people and inspirational leaders to work for, to many to name, however you all know who you are. Those first experiences set the foundation for a truly global and transformative path that shaped not only my career, but also who I am as a leader and a person. Looking back, my career has been one of continuous evolution. I’ve had the privilege to work across continents, functions, technologies, and transformations, from early digital commerce and digital marketing & sales initiatives, to living in the garden state New Jersey and leading major integrations in North America, to help building and shaping our teams in India, driving the first automation & analytics at scale from India and living for 6 years in Incredible India. Today, I’m shaping the Digital Business & Engineering organization within Digital & Tech from the beautiful city of Barcelona, while also helping to build a strong and high‑impact digital hub in this beautiful city. Every chapter brought new challenges, new and awesome people, and new opportunities to learn. And the most rewarding part has always been seeing the impact a dedicated team can create together: whether it’s integrating businesses, modernizing global platforms, or building the digital capabilities of the future. 💙 What I’m most proud of? That my story proves something important:  👉 You can build, grow, and reinvent yourself within one company for decades if you stay curious and embrace change. Why am I still here after 25 years? Because the purpose is real, bringing progress to life and a clear focus since 2001 on people, planet & profit, the challenges keep evolving, and the people make all the difference. What keeps me energized is simple: the people, the purpose, and the continuous transformation. We work at the intersection of science, technology, sustainability, and positive impact and that is something truly worth waking up for.
