Premier Case Study Day à la School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR) ! Hier a marqué une étape importante pour notre équipe de recherche : la célébration de la publication de notre étude de cas sur sknife dans l'International Journal of Case Study in Management (IJCSM) de HEC Montréal. Nous avons eu l'immense plaisir d'accueillir Michael Bach, fondateur et directeur de sknife, venu partager avec nous les coulisses de l'aventure entrepreneuriale qui a inspiré ce cas pédagogique. Un grand merci à Michael Bach, pour son engagement, à Pascal Wild, directeur de la School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR), et à Dr. Jürgen Fritz, responsable R&D, pour leur présence et leur soutien à cette initiative qui illustre parfaitement le lien entre recherche académique et réalité du terrain. Ce fut aussi l'occasion d'enregistrer un podcast avec Michael, où nous sommes revenus sur la genèse de sknife, ses défis et les enseignements à tirer pour nos étudiant·e·s, ainsi que pour les entrepreneur·e·s souhaitant s'inspirer de ce parcours. Yesterday marked an important milestone for our research team: celebrating the publication of our case study on sknife in the International Journal of Case Study in Management (IJCSM) at HEC Montréal. We had the great pleasure of welcoming Michael Bach, founder and CEO of sknife, who joined us to share the behind-the-scenes story of the entrepreneurial journey that inspired this teaching case. A huge thank you to Michael Bach for his commitment, to Pascal Wild, Director of the School of Management Fribourg (HEG-FR), and to Dr. Jürgen Fritz, Head of R&D, for their presence and support for this initiative, which perfectly illustrates the link between academic research and real-world practice. It was also an opportunity to record a podcast with Michael, where we revisited the origins of sknife, its challenges, and the lessons to be drawn for our students as well as for entrepreneurs looking to draw inspiration from this journey.
