“From that 126 units in 2004 to almost 1,275 right now.” 👀 Marco’s Pizza Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer, Steve Seyferth, sat down with At The Moment Media (ATM) to reflect on his career, the evolution of the Marco's brand, and the journey that has helped transform Marco's from a regional pizza chain into one of the nation's fastest-growing pizza brands. Having spent more than four decades with the company, Steve has played a pivotal role in Marco's national expansion. In this conversation, he shares stories from the brand's early days, the vision of founder Pat Giammarco, and how a commitment to quality, franchisee performance, and disciplined growth helped build Marco's footprint across the U.S., Mexico, and the Bahamas. Steve has always been closely involved in this industry. Growing up in Connecticut, he watched his dad work in the marketing and sales fields. As he recalls, “I can remember picking him up in the Country Squire, coming off the train stop in Darien, CT., with all his friends looking the same.” Now more than 45 years into his career, Steve reflects on the lessons, successes, and challenges that came from being part of some of the most influential marketing campaigns ever created, including Gatorade's unforgettable "Be Like Mike" campaign with Michael Jordan. “We’re known as a great product, and I’ve really enjoyed being a part of Marco's,” he said.
