There’s a trend going around right now - people posting throwbacks to 2016, reminding us that what feels like “yesterday” was actually ten years ago. ⏳ Different energy, different priorities, a different world altogether. But today, I feel like going back a little further - to 2012. 🔙 While people were loosing their minds over Gangnam Style and the idea of "viral” was just taking shape, I was making a life-changing professional decision: joining KBZ Law & Tax as a Senior Counsel. It was a moment of ambition, curiosity, and a clear sense of direction about the kind of work I wanted to do and the people I wanted to do it with. Fourteen years later, that decision defines a significant part of who I am professionally. In 2019, it led to becoming a Partner. In between, and ever since, it meant building, learning, adjusting, sometimes succeeding loudly, sometimes failing quietly, but always moving forward. It hasn’t been a straight line, and it was never supposed to be. This path came with demanding projects, tough calls, moments of doubt, and moments of real satisfaction. Most importantly, it came with people – colleagues, partners, mentors, and clients, from whom I learned more than any textbook or deal structure could ever teach me. And if I were standing at the very beginning of this path again, knowing what I know today, I’d choose it again. And again. And again.  🔁 I’ve already walked a long way, but the end of this road is nowhere in sight. And that’s exactly how it should be. I believe the years ahead will bring new challenges, new lessons, and new goals to chase - and that this path will continue to be one taken at MAX!!!MAX!!!MAX!!! speed. 🔥💪
