Organising this rally with so many brilliant people and companies was never going to be easy, but it’s been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever been a part of, and to have raised over £30,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK is something I’ll always be proud of. I’m eternally grateful to all of our sponsors and supporters who’ve helped make this possible. In just 3 days, we covered over 1,000 miles, starting in the UK, travelling through Le Touquet, Brussels, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Italy, before finally reaching Nice, through cities, mountains, and coastlines, all in cars that probably had no business making it past Calais. Overheating at 3,000ft in the Swiss Alps. Another made it despite trailing strange smells and sounding like it hated every incline. Ours? Let’s just say it suffered a few crimes along the way, mostly at the hands of our so-called ‘friends.’ But this was more than just a road trip. It was a tribute to our close friend, Keith Baldwin, a man who brought people together, who lifted others up, and who gave so much to this industry and the people in it. The rally captured exactly who he was: full of life, laughter, and mischief. We’ve shared stories, caused a bit of carnage, and made memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it was cars getting gaffer-taped or tied to trees, surviving Marcus’s interior design rampage (TVs in showers, anyone?), or getting trapped in a lift for an hour and rescued by French firefighters, it was unforgettable. Behind all the laughs and chaos was a serious goal, and thanks to this incredible community, we’ve raised over £30,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK. That’s an achievement Keith would’ve been proud of.
