Tonight I joined my colleague Peter Douchanov M.Sc. CC at the annual NATO Association of Canada Gala Reception of Honour recognizing four distinguished Canadians: Frances Allen CMM, CD, ICD.D, Blake Goldring, C.M., O.Ont., CFA, Blake Hutcheson, and Ms Rose M Patten. #NATO is an important institution that has provided peace, stability, and cooperation for more than 75 years. The Canadian Association strives to educate and engage Canadians about NATO and NATO’s goal of peace, prosperity and security. Through articles, seminars, conferences, and internships for recent graduates the Association contributes to discussions about Canada’s role on the world stage. Thanks to Hon. David Collenette for his leadership as Chair of the Association and the Board, Staff, and volunteers who made this event a success.
