🥳 Since yesterday, 528 #Bavarian patients downloaded their study results from the LMU Klinikum München "Hand aufs Herz" study led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus HAAS. Thousands of more patients will be next. Yesterday, Eren Tasken, Berkay Uras and I launched the Clinical Report Tool - a web framework for securely managing patient-authenticated PDF downloads from REDCap projects. How it works: We use the REDCap data entry trigger to place our endpoint, giving full control over project data. 1. Saving a record auto-generates and stores a unique patient code (e.g. ABCD-EFGH-IJKL).   2. The study team emails the ID and code and we, the Institut für medizinische Informationsverarbeitung, Biometrie und Epidemiologie (IBE) never see personal data.   3. Patients enter both in the app to download their PDF to any device. #datasharing #clinical #medical #research #data
