"Most M&A deals don’t fail because of strategy - they fail in execution."   Increasingly, that execution risk sits squarely in the Tech, Data, and Cyber area. After years of working across complex integrations, separations, and transformations, one thing is clear: Too many organisations still treat Tech M&A as a project, when in reality, it needs to be a capability! At TRE, we have been focused on operationalising our M&A delivery........ What would M&A look like if Tech, Data, and Cyber were truly operationalised? Not reinvented every deal. Not dependent on heroic individuals. But delivered through a repeatable, scalable playbook.   That means moving beyond high-level frameworks and into execution-ready assets, such as: • Day 1 Tech Readiness models that go deeper than connectivity and access • TSA Exit “factory” approach that reduces cost leakage and accelerates separation • Clear integration vs separation decision logic grounded in value, not opinion • Data migration and validation pipeline that is repeatable, not bespoke • Embedded cyber controls from diligence through to stabilisation   TRE's ambition? To take what is often fragmented, reactive, and high-risk and turn it into something structured, predictable, and value-driven. With a focus on execution and delivery — not just advisory.   Where have others seen Tech, Data, or Cyber make or break an M&A deal? What do you think is still missing from most integration or separation approaches? Would be great to hear different perspectives, especially from those in the middle of it.   https://lnkd.in/eFvJsj6i   #MergersAndAcquisitions #Technology #Data #CyberSecurity #PostMergerIntegration #CarveOut #DigitalTransformation
