I am happy that many of my current and former students, international exchange students, volunteers and interns did join me to watch the last match of the German Mannschaft at 3:30am Vietnam 🇻🇳 Time. The atmosphere was great and the excitement and suspense couldn’t be greater up until the penalty shooting after 120 mins draw! I enjoyed that many students took the opportunity to learn about “Ecke, Elfmeter, Fallrückzieher, Viererkette, Mauer, Schwalbe, vorgetäuscht, Unentschieden, Ausgleich, Torwart, angreifen, verteidigen…etc. while enjoying the match and the company!
