As I prepare to start my placement year at MHA in August, I’m faced with an exciting challenge. I am aiming to be one of 45 athletes from the UK selected to represent Great Britain in upcoming matches against Sweden in Karlstad and against Germany, the reigning European champions, at home. Being named among the best athletes in the country is a significant achievement. What makes this moment particularly special for me is that it fulfills a goal I set when I played my first competitive match in November 2023. Making the national team was always the goal, but achieving it so quickly is a testament to my dedication to learning the game and adapting my training. Throughout this journey, I sought guidance from professional athletes and experienced players—proof that seeking knowledge from others truly pays off!
