Priced at 930 U.S. dollars, Torchinsky called Changli the cheapest new car in the world. After shipping and customs taxes, the car cost him about 3,000 U.S. dollars in total. In the series videos, he compared Changli with the golf cart, as well as domestic low speed electric cars in the U.S. As he pointed out, Changli really stands out and was "amazing" in many ways. Though it is hard to compete with those "actual" cars, it would be nice at home or on the golf course. His evaluation videos were released on Jalopnik's Youtube channel and received more than 1.3 million clicks. Many netizens were impressed and said they would like to have a Changli on the golf court.
