Unvealing Hommage La Placide, a timepiece rooted in Geneva, born at the heart of horological excellence. In 1996, the Hommage collection launched as a tribute to the watchmaking masters and friends who inspired Mr. Roger Dubuis’ vision of high horology. Thirty years later, the Maison unveils Hommage La Placide, honoring its founder's legacy and marking the Maison's 30th anniversary. For the second time since the creation of the Maison, the RD14 calibre and RD72 module are combined to form its beating heart, the automatic RD1472 calibre. Limited to 28 pieces and in 38 mm, the 18K pink gold creation embodies Mr Roger Dubuis’ favorite complication: the Perpetual Calendar with the signature biretrograde display, co-patented in 1989. Each detail of this creation reflects a dialogue between heritage and modernity, between the co-founder who started with a dream 30 years ago and the watchmakers who continue to make it exist today.
