Exclusively unveiled at Dubai Watch Week: The Hommage “Sukoon Al-Layl” – a unique timepiece part of the "La Placide" series, completing this year’s emotive tribute to Mr. Roger Dubuis. Named “Sukoon Al-Layl”, the tranquillity of the night, this 38 mm timepiece embodies the profound serenity of the desert at night. It reflects Mr. Roger Dubuis’ passion for astronomic complications and bridges the prowess of Arabic astronomy to watchmaking made in Geneva. Crafted in platinum to echo the silvery radiance of the moon, it is equipped with a perpetual calendar, Mr. Roger Dubuis’ favourite complication. At its heart lies the RD1472 calibre, a masterful fusion of an upgraded RD14 calibre and the biretrograde Perpetual Calendar module, RD72. The dial, adorned with guilloché waves recalling sand ripples shaped by desert winds, is bathed in "Astral Blue", a shade that captures the stillness of the night sky before dawn.
