🐝 x 🎄 here it is -- the new christmas commercial for de Bijenkorf. the film (directed by the great Johan Kramer / Holy Fools) takes you on a time-travel journey through de Bijenkorf’s history, from 1870 to today. the red thread is the iconic de Bijenkorf ornament, which sits at the heart of the story and symbolises the connection between generations. what i really love is all the craft and attention to detail that went into it -- every element, from costume and set design to color grading and casting, was chosen to capture the spirit of each era.
