🚨 A 19-Year-Old Was Executed. Where Is the Outrage? While much of the world's attention is focused elsewhere, the Islamic Republic of Iran has reportedly executed 19-year-old Erfan Esfandiari. According to reports, he was not accused of murder or carrying out an armed attack. His alleged "crime" was providing shelter to protesters fleeing security forces during the January 2026 uprising. If these reports are accurate, this is not justice. It is the use of state power to silence a generation demanding freedom. Where are the international human rights organizations? Where are the student movements, celebrities, and activists who claim to stand for justice? Human rights cannot depend on politics, geography, or ideology. They must apply equally to everyone. The Iranian people have shown extraordinary courage in the face of repression. They deserve more than statements. They deserve sustained international pressure on a regime that continues to use executions as a tool of fear. The world must not look away.
