CATIA and SIMULIA communities came together in one shared event venue creating a powerful milestone for engineering innovation and collaboration. On June 17 and 18, Dassault Systèmes hosted the CATIA User Symposium Europe and the SIMULIA Regional User Meeting at the Darmstadium, bringing users, customers, partners and experts into a single venue to exchange ideas, learn from one another, and explore the future together. A key highlight was the plenary session by Olivier Sappin, CATIA CEO, and Michelle Ash, SIMULIA CEO, who shared insights into the future of engineering, virtual twins, and innovation with AI. This was followed by an inspiring presentation from Dr. Christian Vogl (BMW) and Jørgen Hilmann on how advanced technologies are transforming engineering and product development. The CATIA R&D team (Romain Perron, Emir Touajni, Guillaume terpant , Carole CHARLOT-LEQUIN) delivered an impressive presentation and stunning live demonstration, offering a glimpse into technologies that will help shape the future of industries. Beyond the presentations, the greatest value came from the conversations, networking, and exchange of ideas with customers, partners, and colleagues from across Europe and beyond. Members of my team (Stefan Mertz, Michel Schäfer) delivered couple of very informative and engaging presentations together with colleagues from SIMULIA (Jens Menzen, István Somogyvári , Joe Amodeo) on the MODSIM track (Modelling & Simulation).
