Academic Speed Dating Recap – Thank you for joining! Yesterday, we welcomed around 35 participants from across the University of Mannheim's research network to our latest Academic Speed Dating at the Mannheim Center for Data Science. Under the theme “Experiments and Causal Research with AI”, the event brought together diverse perspectives and research topics, combining two inspiring keynotes by Prof. Dr. Marc Ratkovic and Dr. Nicole Schwitter with short presentations by PhD students and researchers, moderated by Prof. Dr. Florian Keusch. The format created space for open exchange, new ideas, and interdisciplinary connections in a relaxed setting. A big thank you to our keynote speakers and all participants for contributing to such an engaging and collaborative atmosphere! We’re already looking forward to the next edition in Fall 2026 (HWS 2026).
