π§οΈπ Moving Together, Thriving Together ππ§οΈ Regardless of the rain or the cold, we turn up. We hold onto each other, and we move together. Our walking and jogging group for women and girls continues to be a powerful space of love, solidarity and shared strength. With every step, we share our stories, lean in for support, and lift one another across all walks of life. Movement becomes more than physical, it becomes connection, healing and joy. πΆπ½ββοΈππΎββοΈβ¨ This week, we were honoured to be joined by guest walker Kaz Calderwood, Personal Trainer with a focus on Health, Wellness and Intergenerational Movement. πͺπ½π± Kaz generously shared practical tips and techniques to improve stamina, strength and resilience, while reminding us of something deeply important: β¨ Know yourself, understand what your body can do, recognise your limits, and work with that knowledge to build a programme that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. We were truly inspired by Kazβs own journey, from nursing, to physical activity, to becoming a grandmother, and much much more. In awe of her bravery, compassion and dedication to making others feel good about themselves, and to delivering kind, person-centred care to some of the most vulnerable people in our communities. π This is public health in action, prevention, wellbeing, community connection and empowerment, rooted in movement, trust and shared humanity. Strong bodies, resilient minds, and healthier communities start right here. πβ€οΈ Thank you to Kaz and to all our previous guest walkers. We love your support, allyship and wisdom. We look forward to welcoming other guests to learn, connect, and be greater together than the sum of our parts. π€β¨ Together, we continue to thrive through the power of movement and connection. πͺπ #TogetherWeMove #WomenSupportingWomen #PublicHealthInAction #MovementForWellbeing #CommunityCare #HealthEquity #Resilience #WalkingTogether ππΆπ½ββοΈππΎββοΈ
