It’s a practical way to support parents to share care from the very start, and an important step in challenging traditional assumptions about parenting and work. Our HR Chief Operating Officer, Pete O'Rourke, spoke at the Equal Parenting Week launch event by Parenting Out Loud, joining employers and parents to discuss how equal parenting can be better supported in the workplace. He added, “We created gender‑inclusive parental leave so colleagues can be there for every milestone – from those first weeks to the years that follow. At M&G, supporting life outside work helps people thrive at work too.” Being part of this conversation matters.
