Alongside our partners Greater Manchester Combined Authority, we welcomed senior political leaders, policymakers, business figures including Siemens and Bosch, and civic representatives to Manchester Met today for the 76th Königswinter Conference. Featuring business-focused sessions, debates, and innovation hub visits including to our Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre, the conference was an opportunity to deepen UK - Germany economic ties following the signing of the UK–Germany Treaty last summer, while strengthening Greater Manchester’s global reputation as a hub for sustainable growth, innovation, and international collaboration.
