From the outlook for the second half of 2026 to AI in practice, geopolitical uncertainty to responsible investment alpha, yesterday's Man Group UK Investment Symposium covered a lot of ground. Taking place for the first time at The National Gallery in London, the day was opened by CEO Robyn Grew, bringing together clients and speakers for a series of wide-ranging discussions. Man Group speakers included Kristina Hooper on her mid-year market outlook, Richard Barclay on 10 years of risk premia evolution, Robert Lam on systematic fixed income at scale, Tushara Fernando on putting AI to work, and Jason Mitchell and Bowie Ko on the intersection of climate risk and quant alpha. We were also joined by Professor Mark Blyth, in conversation with Man Group President Steven Desmyter, on deglobalisation and the new geopolitics. Christopher Parker closed the day, after which attendees enjoyed a guided tour of the gallery. Thank you to all who joined us.
