MAN Truck & Bus is making strong progress towards its climate targets. Since 2019, the company has reduced greenhouse gas emissions at its global sites by 67.9%, putting it firmly on track to achieve its SBTi-validated goal of a 70% reduction by 2030. At the same time, the company is focusing on the largest lever for decarbonization: the use phase of its vehicles, which accounts for more than 95% of total emissions. Through the consistent electrification of its product portfolio, MAN has already reduced emissions per vehicle kilometer by 16% compared to 2019. Key milestones include the start of series production of the MAN eTGX and MAN eTGS electric trucks, significant growth in electric bus deployments, and an overall increase of 168% in the sales of fully electric vehicles in 2025. In the bus segment alone, more than 1,300 electric city buses were delivered, marking a new record. In parallel, MAN is advancing the decarbonization of its own operations and logistics, from energy supply and production processes to inbound and outbound transport solutions. The ambition is clear: to make climate action measurable across the entire value chain – within operations, in product use, and beyond.
