One year after the start of series production of electric trucks, MAN Truck & Bus is seeing strong progress in its transformation toward zero-emission transport. Around 1,200 eTrucks have been built at the Munich plant, where electric and diesel vehicles continue to run on a single, fully integrated production line – ensuring maximum flexibility and responsiveness to customer demand. The new manufacturing approach has quickly proven its value, with a daily capacity of around 100 trucks and more than 5,000 employees trained in high-voltage technology. At the same time, MAN is consistently expanding its electric portfolio, with additional models such as the eTGL and eTGM and further production ramp-ups planned across its European network. On the road, the MAN eTruck is already delivering in real-world operations, covering a wide range of applications with ranges of up to 830 kilometers and modular battery configurations up to seven battery packs. This underlines the growing maturity of electric transport solutions. Electrification remains a key lever for achieving MAN’s goal of CO₂ neutrality by 2050. After just one year, it is clear that electric trucks are no longer a pilot -they are a scalable industrial reality driving the future of sustainable logistics.
