B.I.G. – now live. On September 20, 2023, Mammut athlete Jakob Schubert climbed “B.I.G.” in Flatanger, Norway: at grade 9c one of the five most demanding sport climbing routes in the world. A line that had remained an open project for over a decade. A line that once felt nearly impossible. But this story is not just about a first ascent. With the idea of livestreaming his attempts, Jakob turned the project into something entirely new, adding a level of exposure and pressure that had never been done before at this level. “B.I.G. – A World First” captures that journey: The fight.
