Teachers' Day Celebrated at MIMIT, Malout, in Collaboration with Central Bank of India As in previous years, this year's Teachers' Day at MIMIT was celebrated with great splendor and grace, in collaboration with the Central Bank of India, Malout. Sharing details about the program, the event's coordinator, Dr. Rajesh Chaudhary, stated that the institute's head, Dr. Jaskaran Singh Bhullar, and the Central Bank of India, Malout Branch Manager, Shri Dheeraj Kumar, were the chief guests. The program began with a student from Computer Science & Engg., Sania, explaining that September 5th is the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, which is celebrated as Teachers' Day across India. She also shed light on Dr. Radhakrishnan's life. Following this, students gave various performances, including folk songs, speeches, group dances, and Bhangra. Sharing his thoughts on the importance of teachers, Dr. Bhullar said that our first teachers are our parents, from whom we learn our first spoken and written words. He added that a teacher is like a lamp or a candle that burns itself to spread the light of knowledge in society. Dr. Bhullar emphasized that there should be no difference between a teacher's words and actions so that they can be an ideal role model for students. He also stated that teachers should always be ready to guide their students. On this occasion, Director Dr. Bhullar sought the cooperation of the faculty and staff to help the farmers and residents of Punjab affected by the floods. The institute specially honored the faculty and staff who showed outstanding performance in this year's admissions. During the program, students also participated in poetry recitations, speeches, and discussion forums. The entire program was emceed by the institute's Assistant Professor, Shri Gurpreet Singh Soni. The event was attended by the institute's Registrar Dr. Sanjiv Sharma, various Deans, heads of departments, faculty, and students. The institute's head, Dr. Bhullar, congratulated the program coordinator, Dr. Rajesh Chaudhary, and his team for the program's success.
