MIMIT Malout Holds Seminar on Careers in Solar Panel Industry, a Joint Effort by Mechanical Engineering and Training & Placement Departments The Punjab government-established institution, MIMIT Malout, hosted a comprehensive seminar for students on careers in green energy. The event featured Green Innovation Jaipur, a solar panel manufacturing company. According to Dr. Rutash Mittal, the institute's Training & Placement Officer, and Dr. Subhash Ahuja, Assistant Training & Placement Officer, the seminar aimed to provide students with detailed information about the high demand for engineering and MBA graduates in the solar panel industry. The goal was to shed light on a bright future for students in this sector. Arun Grover, Manager of Training & Skill Development from Insulation Green Energy Private Limited, Swarda, Jaipur, was the special guest. He was warmly welcomed to the institute and shared insights on how students can build a career in the solar industry. He also explained how they could start their own businesses by setting up grids with solar panels in their local area. Mr. Grover highlighted the various government subsidies available, which he said would be highly beneficial in the future. He also announced that his company is opening a new plant soon and that students can apply for jobs there by taking a test. The institute's head, Dr. Jaskaran Singh Bhullar, thanked Mr. Grover for his visit and encouraged the students to pursue careers in the solar industry. The event concluded with Mr. Grover being honored by the institute. The seminar was attended by Dr. Rajesh Chaudhary, Head of the Mechanical Department, along with other staff members and assistant training and placement officers from various departments.
