Last week, our co-founder and managing director, Dr. Manfred Gröppel presented Mallia’s journey at the Collegium Alexandrinum in Erlangen, together with Prof. Dr. Alexander Steinkasserer. What started as fundamental research into the immunomodulatory protein sCD83 has evolved into a completely new approach to supporting hair growth. During the presentation, Prof. Dr. Steinkasserer explained the science behind sCD83 and its unique mode of action, while Dr. Gröppel showed how these discoveries were transformed into hormone-free cosmetic products and outlined Mallia’s future roadmap.
