Cybersecurity & Network Defense | Blue Team | Aspiring SOC Analyst | CCNAv7 | CCNPv8 | Parrot & Kali Linux

I am excited to announce the completion of our Mini Security Operations Center (π’πŽπ‚) Capstone Project! πŸš€ Over the past few weeks, my team and I have built a complete π’πŽπ‚ environment that simulates real-world security operations, encompassing attack simulation, detection, investigation, and response πŸ” Throughout the project, we: πŸ”Ή Built a SOC lab using Wazuh SIEM, Windows 10, Ubuntu Server, Kali Linux, and Tailscale. πŸ”Ή Simulated multiple cyber attacks, including Reconnaissance, SQL Injection, XSS, LFI, and Brute Force. πŸ”Ή Collected and analyzed logs in real time. πŸ”Ή Investigated security alerts and mapped them to the MITRE ATT&CK Framework. πŸ”Ή Implemented mitigation techniques and automated parts of the incident response process. This project provided us with valuable hands-on experience in SIEM operations, threat hunting, log analysis, incident investigation, and blue team workflows in a realistic lab environment. I would like to express my gratitude to my teammates for their effort, collaboration, and commitment throughout this project. It was a pleasure working with you all. πŸ‘₯ Team: Mostafa Abdelrahim β€ͺTarek Elgendy‬‏ Mohamed Abdelatif A special thanks to our instructor Amr Adel Kamal Abdelwahab 🀝 for his continuous guidance, support, and the knowledge he shared with us throughout this journey. Your mentorship was crucial to the success of this project. Lastly, I would like to thank Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative - DEPI for providing such a valuable learning experience and the opportunity to apply cybersecurity concepts in a practical, hands-on environment.
