A huge thank you to everyone who visited the Make UK Pavilion at MACH Exhibition 2026 – from our incredible members and exhibitors to the wider UK manufacturing community. It was fantastic to come together, share ideas and celebrate the strength of our sector. This year felt especially memorable as we marked 130 years of Make UK at MACH, with our CEO Stephen Phipson CBE cutting a celebratory cake alongside members and partners. A moment to reflect on how far UK manufacturing has come – and where it’s heading next. We were proud to showcase such a strong group of manufacturers across the pavilion. As Tony Cheesman at SA Equip put it, it was a “wonderful time… connecting with the right people” and being part of a group that truly puts UK manufacturing in the spotlight. John Murgatroyd from Thomas Broadbent Centrifuges described it as “the most successful event we’ve ever attended,” highlighting the power of collaboration within the Make UK network. And for Julia Loeser at DK Holdings Limited, MACH was a “fantastic opportunity to be part of an organisation that champions UK manufacturing and the people behind it.” It’s this sense of community – across Make UK and Make UK Defence – that made the week so special. From insightful conversations to celebrating together (and yes, plenty of cake), it’s been one to remember. Thank you again to everyone who made it such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one.
