Designed for Resilience and Regeneration. Based in Australia, studio guild has spent over 25 years shaping bold, lasting brands in the drinks industry. Their contribution to Make a Mark draws inspiration from native Australian flora that rely on fire to release seeds and renew life. EMBA reimagines the historical glass cloche, a bell-shaped vessel used to protect fragile plants, as a meditation on environmental resilience. Creating a design that honors nature's ability to recover through adversity required materials that embody transformation: The Protective Form: ESTAL engineered a custom 700ml cloche-shaped bottle with a raised punt adorned with endangered flora, its textured surface capturing the raw, organic imperfection of fire-touched earth. The Scorched Canvas: Avery Dennison provided Fasson® Cotton White, debossed with textures that evoke charred landscapes, creating a tactile surface that speaks to the theme of rebirth through destruction. The Heat Shimmer: LEONHARD KURZ Kurz applied LUXOR® 398 and LIGHT LINE® LP MAGMA TS foils, with clear foil elements that shimmer like rising heat, evoking the energy of renewal and transformation. The name EMBA, drawn from "ember," whispers of transformation. The closure resembles charred wood, holding a mantra etched into the base: recovery, reuse, regenerate, rethink, rebirth. Every material, finish, and form reinforces that in nature's cycles, there is always a spark of renewal. EMBA is a vessel of hope, celebrating the silent resilience that lives in every cycle of the natural world.
