When things are going well, maintaining the status quo seems logical. “Good enough” can masquerade as excellence, and before you know it, growth opportunities pass you by. A couple of years ago, I made a conscious decision to disrupt my own career trajectory. Drawing on the strategic mindset set in my foundational years spent in the military, I pressed pause and pursued the Sloan Masters in Leadership & Strategy at London Business School. Last week, I stood at the Royal Festival Hall, graduating alongside an incredible group of global leaders. The programme was intense and immersive, and I’m truly glad I chose LBS, a truly global institution matching my international experience & ambitions, for this transformative journey. The world-class faculty, coaches, programme office, and above all, my fellow Sloans of the 2024 intake, each remarkable in their own right, helped me sharpen that proverbial ‘edge’ and position well for what comes next. I thank each of you wholeheartedly! I am grateful to Arpana Samuel Singh, my ever-dependable partner, who kept our family strong while I pursued this adventure. Cheers!
