🇫🇷 Ce que le Japon nous a appris En avril dernier, Maison Devienne a participé au salon PLUG IN Tokyo, une première rencontre avec le marché japonais. Au-delà des échanges commerciaux, cette expérience nous a permis d'observer une autre manière d'aborder l'art et l'artisanat. Nous avons été marqués par trois choses. • Le temps consacré à découvrir chaque création. • L'attention portée aux détails : la qualité de la soie, le roulotté main, les finitions, le certificat d'authenticité. • L'intérêt porté à l'histoire de la pièce autant qu'à l'objet lui-même. Ces échanges ont renforcé une conviction qui nous accompagne depuis la création de Maison Devienne. À l'heure où tout semble aller toujours plus vite, il existe encore une place pour des objets créés avec le temps, porteurs d'une histoire et d'un savoir-faire. C'est cette vision que nous continuerons à défendre, à Tahiti, en France et désormais à l'international. 🇬🇧 What Japan taught us Last April, Maison Devienne took part in PLUG IN Tokyo, our first encounter with the Japanese market. Beyond the business meetings, this experience gave us the opportunity to observe another way of appreciating art and craftsmanship. Three things particularly stood out. • The time visitors devoted to discovering each creation. • Their attention to detail: the quality of the silk, the hand-rolled edges, the finishing touches and the certificate of authenticity. • Their interest in the story behind each piece, as much as the object itself. These conversations strengthened a belief that has guided Maison Devienne from the beginning. In a world that moves ever faster, there is still room for objects created with time, carrying both craftsmanship and meaning.
