After 3 months of planning, researching and writing, I am delighted to share that I achieved a grade of 76% (First Class) on my dissertation project. My dissertation explored how endometriosis affects women of reproductive age - a topic I chose because, despite affecting millions of women worldwide and having a detrimental impact on quality of life and reproductive health, it has historically received comparatively limited research attention. Throughout this project I strengthened my skills in: 🔬Research and critical analysis 📚 Literature review and evidence evaluation 📊 Data interpretation ✍️ Scientific and technical writing ⏰ Project management and organisation Completing this dissertation has been one of the most rewarding parts of my degree and has strengthened my passion for science, research, and healthcare. As I prepare to graduate next month with a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Kent, I am excited to begin my professional career and am currently exploring opportunities in: • Research Analyst roles • Medical Writing and Scientific Communications • Medical Laboratory and Life Sciences positions • Healthcare Research and related graduate opportunities A huge thank you to my supervisor, my friends and my family for their support throughout this journey. I’m excited to see what comes next!
