When sustainable packaging comes up, the conversation often slips into the usual categories: paper or plastic, compostable or recyclable. In production, though, the logic is usually more straightforward. Companies want lower-impact solutions, but not if they add complexity to the process. Because complexity shows up quickly: more variables on the line, more claims, and more uncertainty once packaging turns into waste. This is why more practical solutions start to make sense. Certified compostable materials can be the right fit for components that are likely to be disposed of with organic waste. Mono-material solutions are a better fit where the goal is recycling that is simple and scalable. These are not image-driven decisions. They are shaped by process, waste handling, and the practical constraints of the supply chain. At Magic, we are working in both directions: certified compostable pads and mono-material pads that can be recycled with paper, to make end of life easier to manage. #SustainablePackaging #FoodPackaging #MonoMaterial #CompostablePackaging #PackagingMaterials #PackagingProcess #EndOfLife
