A great loss... Two years ago, the Polish band Malovana, based in Katowice, created a song titled "Pool Max Blue," which is a tribute to David Hockney and his iconic paintings of swimming pools, especially "A Bigger Splash." The song combines the aesthetic of blue waters with an emotional message about separation. The moment when the protagonist discovers that the other person is leaving symbolizes a deep dive, full of uncertainty but also hope for a new beginning.
