In response to the recent hostilities in #Lebanon, MAG rapidly mobilised to deliver life-saving safety messages and address the threat of unexploded bombs left behind by the conflict. Three months on, MAG teams have: 🔴 Cleared 17,500m² of contaminated land in Mount Lebanon and South Lebanon 🔴 Delivered 250 risk education sessions to 3,862 people 🔴 Delivered risk education to nearly 500 frontline workers 🔴 Reached 6.5 million people with safety messages on social media 🔴 Distributed 224,000 educational materials to 90,741 people, including 44,741 children For too many communities, the greatest danger begins after the fighting ends.
