As more capital flows into private credit and new players enter the space, proprietary origination is becoming increasingly important. In this short video, our Head of Global Credit Solutions Frank Danieli explains why proprietary origination is central to our private credit strategy. As Frank explains, "You want to be having a proprietary origination ecosystem to create lending opportunities that your funds can participate in. And that's more than just relationships – it’s owning your own platforms…it's having financial infrastructure…and finally, it's having exclusive contractual partnerships with banks and non banks. This for us allows us to see a funnel of over $30 billion a year of lending opportunities and we can curate that down and execute only 5 to 10% of what we see.”
