Unpopular opinion: frontend is just as important as backend development. Frontend gets a bad rap for being "easy". How hard could it be to style a website, right? But as the modern JavaScript ecosystem has evolved, and the browser has become more and more capable, that's not true anymore. It's now possible to build amazing experiences purely using frontend technologies. And that's far from easy. I'm not trying to discredit backend work at all. Backend has its own unique challenges that require complex problem solving. I just don't think it's fair to say that one is easier than the other. And most larger, real-world applications will need both to be successful. šŸ”„
