A great portfolio is your most important tool when applying for a front-end job. Think about it: If you were looking to hire, who would you prefer to meet with? → Someone with just a CV or application, listing a bunch of technologies and buzzwords → Someone with an excellent portfolio showing off their actual skills and ability to build entire projects On top of that, you can use your portfolio to show some personality, add fun details and just generally stand out during the application process. It's also just awesome to work on a project where you have full control and can build it exactly how you want to. So if you're looking for a front-end job but don't have a portfolio yet, I'd say it's the highest RoI task you can (and should) focus on. 🔥
