5 pieces of advice I wish I had known when I started my career as a junior developer: 1. It's okay to ask lots of questions. Most people will love to help. 2. Don't sweat it if you mess up. Everybody makes mistakes. 3. Channel your learning. Focus on one thing at a time. 4. Look things up. Google (and now AI) is your friend. 5. Always stay pragmatic. Try not to lose your cool. I think juniors often limit their learning because they're scared of messing up or asking for help. But most good companies understand that juniors are new in the field, and will require guidance / mentoring to grow into their full potential. π₯
