I’m looking for a senior Protection and Control Engineer with strong substation experience and the ability to lead complex engineering work from early design through commissioning support. The ideal candidate will bring: • 8+ years of experience in substation protection and control design, preferably in the utility, consulting, or EPC environment. • Strong knowledge of protection principles, including distance protection, transformer differential, bus differential, overcurrent, breaker failure, reclosing, and protection coordination. • Proven experience delivering P&C systems from concept through detailed design, settings, drawings, testing support, and commissioning. • Experience with SCADA integration, IEC 61850, GOOSE messaging, DNP3, Modbus, and substation communication architectures. • A track record of working with major utilities, IPPs, transmission developers, or renewable energy developers. • Experience with renewable interconnections, BESS projects, transmission substations, and grid modernization work. • PE license, P.Eng. license, or active progress toward licensure is strongly preferred.
