This is nerve wracking but DEEP BREATH… Our investigative podcast that I series produced, SPLBERG is now available on Audible! It’s about someone who claimed to be Steven Spielberg’s nephew and the power of fame. We spoke to some brave, thoughtful, unexpected people to bring this eight part story out of the nostalgic 90s and into the present. I’ve worked with a brilliant team, many of whom have lived and breathed this story long before I came onboard. Unbelievably vital production management from Archan Mohile, a dogged nose for original journalism from story producer Christopher Barnette-Harding, a ship solidly steered by exec Jago Lee, superb storytelling and thoughtful thematic thinking from story editors Philippa Geering and Andrew Dickson. From Audible, energetic, attentive and open-minded exec-ing from Clare Chadburn and Kent DePinto. A unique and bizarre score from Max de Wardener. The supportive, kind and endlessly creative Brain Audio - Chris, Becca (we should all be more Becca!), Simon and Carlos took my sprawling scripted sound design notes and made them sing. And if you’ve made it this far, I’ve also learnt a huge deal about myself, about my confidence as a journalist and finding my own creative voice.
