Macquarie Capital acted as financial adviser to Palisade Investment Partners and Intera Renewables on their acquisition of a 100% interest in the Summerfield Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The Summerfield system is a 240MW / 960MWh under-construction BESS located in South Australia and has a long-term offtake in place with Origin Energy. Commercial operations are scheduled to commence in late 2026. Macquarie Capital is pleased to be working with Palisade and Intera once again as they continue to demonstrate their leadership in driving investment into Australia’s rapidly evolving power system.
