A new Australian spider has been discovered in the tropical rainforests of north Queensland 🕷️ Macquarie University researchers Professor Ajay Narendra and PhD student Pranav Joshi were part of an international team who discovered the species. Nicknamed the ballista spider, the tiny predator builds a spring-loaded trap to catch a single ant species.
