DISNEY RESEARCH  A day that will stay with us for a long time. Our visit to Disney Research Studios in Zürich offered us inspiring insights across two parallel group sessions - each revealing different perspectives, methodologies and approaches that are shaping the future of immersive experiences. One insight that stood out in particular was the clear distinction between strategic and tactical research, illustrated with remarkable clarity by Markus Gross, Chief Scientist at Disney and Managing Director of the Disney Research.  This perspective helped us better understand how long-term vision and short-term problem-solving can co-exist and fuel one another. His Colleagues have shown us how impactful research increase the effectiveness of content production, animation and related professions.  Throughout the day, we experienced the value of exchanging ideas with the people working behind the curtain - those operating at the edge of technology and creation to develop the entertainment and attractions of tomorrow. These conversations not only broadened our understanding, but also sparked new thoughts on how we can enhance our own development processes in our MACK One Family Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG, Mack Animation GmbH VR Coaster 2112 STUDIOS.  What impressed us most was the openness to share experiences, challenges and new research pathways.  It left us reflecting on how we as an industry can accelerate collaboration between research environments and real-world implementation. We would be interested in hearing how others view the balance between strategic and tactical innovation in their own fields.  Where do you see the strongest drivers for future experiences emerging? Looking forward to the discussion. #CreativeTechnology #InnovationEcosystem #FutureOfExperience #ThemedEntertainment #ResearchAndDevelopment #robotics #ai #emotioneering
