Many people with infectious diseases, such as HIV and hepatitis B and C, are unaware that they have them. Testing is an effective prevention strategy, which is why Nicole Dukers-Muijrers investigates how people can be reached and encouraged to get tested, and how the burden of infectious diseases can be reduced.
