On Monday I had the opportunity to pitch nuclivision and share some obstacles scaleups are facing to the delegations of Ekaterina Zaharieva Matthias Diependaele as part of the imec.istart family (thanks to Luisa Leroy and Sven De Cleyn for inviting me!) It is very hopeful to see that Europe is working on hard on improving its competitiveness and is actively stimulating innovation. At the same time, a lot of answers boil down to "we need help from the member states to achieve this". Scaleups should not expect their lives to be any easier on the very short term and we need countries to take responsibility and act to reduce the legal heterogeneity in Europe. Politics aside, it was great fun to sit together with other founders and see that we are all facing similar hurdles Pauline Van Ostaeyen Glenn Mariën Johannes Peeters and many others!
