The State Duma deputy Aleksandr Kozlovskiy visited M-Konstruktor On September 6, the State Duma deputy Aleksandr Kozlovskiy and Tatiana Fomchenkova, the principal of the Gymnasium named after S. V. Kovalevskaya, visited the M-Konstruktor plant. The visit began with the meeting of the guests with the plant’s management represented by CCO Artyom Bagnyuk and COO Eduard Bagnyuk. They told the guests about the current state of the plant, short-term development plans, and current issues, such as the lack of qualified personnel. Kozlovskiy noted that the implementation of the Young Professionals federal project has already begun. The funds, which amount to billions of roubles, will be used to upgrade the material and technical resources of secondary vocational institutions in the country and the region, including the Velikoluksky Polytechnic College. It is with this educational institution, where welders, lathe operators and milling machine operators are trained, that the plant's main hopes are connected. Then the guests examined a classroom equipped with 3D-models of the plant’s products, as well as pre-assembly shops, machining shops, and assembly shops, where they learned about the operations which help to bring new steel moulds into the world. The State Duma deputy, who was once head of an electrical equipment plant in Velikiye Luki, praised the technical sophistication of the plant, as well as the complexity of the steel moulds produced, while observing the production process for a microtunneling pipe steel mould and then the operation of a tilting table. The visit ended with the meeting with M-Konstruktor's workers. The plant workers' questions mainly touched on the prospects for the development of the town's infrastructure. A number of questions were answered by Kozlovskiy, and some of them were taken up for further consideration.
