In the occupied West Bank, decades of escalating Israeli military restrictions and settler violence have severely disrupted daily life and compromised access to essential healthcare. This humanitarian crisis has intensified significantly since late 2023, with local authorities documenting over 11,000 incidents of violence in the first half of 2026 alone, and OCHA confirming the killing of 1,103 Palestinians—including at least 241 children—since October 2023. MSF teams in Nablus provide critical psychosocial support, conducting an average of 250 mental health consultations each month between January and April 2026 to treat patients suffering from severe anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and grief driven by this pervasive insecurity.
