We are making circularity a little sweeter, one chocolate wrapper at a time. Together with Mondelēz International and key value chain collaborators like Amcor and Taghleef Industries, LYB is helping Swedish chocolate brand Marabou to offer packaging sourced from 75% recycled content using LYB CirculenRevive polymers with 100% attributed recycled content via an ISCC PLUS-certified mass balance approach. Our solution helps convert hard-to-recycle post-consumer mixed plastic waste into high-quality materials for demanding applications like flexible food packaging. As we continue to expand our circular solutions, we plan to supply future polymers for Marabou packaging through MoReTec-1, our first commercial-scale catalytic chemical recycling plant under construction in Wesseling, Germany.
